Hours
Monday‑Friday, no nights/weekends, daytime hours. 6‑week program (June‑July 2026). Employees will work 4 days / week (about 30 hrs). Trainings and onboarding will be held before program starts.
Qualifications- Prior experience working with people with disabilities (preferred but not required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Daily operation of the Summer Work Experience program site working with High School students with developmental disabilities.
- Conduct work‑site training of participants (hard skills) and provide onsite social‑skills training as needed (soft skills).
- Guide and direct participants one‑on‑one through varying workplace scenarios.
- Set a professional example and establish expectations through actions, attendance, and dress.
- Advocate on behalf of all participants and communicate with the participating business to ensure business needs are met and a positive working relationship is maintained.
- Work independently with participants and make decisions necessary to guide them to a successful and positive work experience.
