Substitute Teachers Needed
We are currently seeking substitute teachers for the school year. Pay is determined by the total hours worked during the academic year. $135.00 per day/$19.29 an hour. Retired teachers $150.00 per day/ $21.43 an hour. MUST HAVE a Missouri Substitute Certificate to be considered. To obtain a Missouri Substitute Certificate, visit the DESE website.

Position SummarySubstitute teachers are responsible for providing direct instruction to students and maintaining an environment conducive to learning. They are responsible for implementing substitute plans as written by the teacher.
Sphere and Scope of InfluenceSubstitute teachers are responsible for supervising students, implementation of the District curriculum and assessment plan, and utilizing resources accordingly.
Essential DutiesSupervise students at all times and/or as directed by the supervisor. Supervise events as described above and/or directed by the supervisor.
Qualification RequirementsBachelor degree or higher preferred. Valid Missouri substitute teaching certification required, multiple teaching certifications preferred.

Physical Related RequirementsThe candidate should be able to move in and around the classroom, building, District buildings, and campus locations. Consistent attendance as well as general functioning in a school setting.
Mental DemandsThe candidate should have the ability to maintain confidentiality, communicate clearly both orally and in writing, utilize District resources including District issued technology and programs required to fulfill the essential job duties.
Environmental ConditionsTypical school conditions including indoor and outdoor activities.
