CNC Machinist

Texwrap located in Washington, MO is seeking a Machinist to set up and safely operate a CNC Machine Center to fabricate quality parts per customer specifications.

• Set up machine with proper tooling
• Run/adjust programs as necessary to produce quality parts
• Verify that parts are machined correctly to the print
• Use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, including material gauge and tolerances
• Review and follow any specific instructions on job orders
• Perform first/last article quality checks, routing per guidelines and check for burrs
• Ensure all jobs are recorded within MRP system and quantities are accurately counted
• Place parts neatly with job orders and deliver to next work center
• Perform general maintenance of machines
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Follow all safety policies within work center
• Work to achieve routing times and report major discrepancies to supervisor
• Perform additional duties and assignments

• High school diploma
• 2 years technical training
• 3-5 years of experience
• Detail and quality oriented
• Good attendance
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Professional communication, attitude and image
• May require lifting of parts and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
