DT Internal Assembler- Tanker; 1st Shift

Description

Internal Assembler – perform a range of tasks in the production of a transformer, including reading and interpreting Bill of Materials, drawings and work instructions; selecting and preparing materials, tools and equipment; assembling parts; operating cranes and hoist; performing repairs; training new team members; maintaining quality and production records; performing related tasks as directed.

• Read, understand and interpret BOMs, drawings, schematics, work instructions and specifications to complete assignments with limited supervision.
• Select and prepare materials, tools, and equipment required for tasks.
• Obtain and/or prepare necessary parts and materials; perform assigned assembly of appropriate parts.
• Operate cranes and hoists as needed.
• Perform repairs on or outside tanks.
• Train, assist, and mentor new team members in assembly.
• Maintain quality and production records.
• Perform any related tasks as deemed necessary by supervision.

• Ability to work evening or night shift.
• Availability to work limited overtime, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, if necessary.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and computations.
• Adherence to assigned schedule.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic English communications.
• Residence or intent to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
• Current work authorization for employment within the United States.
• Internal candidates: bid process per Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
• External candidates must complete application, talent assessment, job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Safety Sensitive position:
  Drug panel includes THC.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
