Position SummaryThe Production Scheduler Coordinator supports the Schedulers and ensures 100% on time production through proactive management of each work order. In all actions, support the Quality Policy, Mission Statement, and other policies and procedures by supporting our commitment to total customer satisfaction, quality products and services, lean processes, continuous improvement, on-time delivery, safety, individual accountability, and respect for people.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Print, file, organize, and prioritize documents and work orders while trailing between departments.
- Manage and coordinate short flow, priority requirements, process orchestration to monitor due dates when on-time delivery is in jeopardy.
- Identify potential problems, analyze, and propose alternatives for resolution for any issues that may jeopardize on-time delivery.
- Facilitate work order changes and update schedule priorities.
- Being reactive to sudden, urgent obstacles within scheduling and production jobs.
- Responsible of generating and follow up on timelines for crucial parts and orders.
- Add and adjust priorities to Work Orders and Production Schedules when needed.
- Become knowledgeable of and follow company procedures.
- Support other team positions and departments as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet company growth and customer expectations.
- Work well under pressure; meeting multiple & sometimes competing deadlines. At all times, demonstrate cooperative and civil behavior with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
- Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.
- Have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Have the ability to learn quickly.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments on-site.
- High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
- Computer skills required include: ERP software, Microsoft word, and robust Excel knowledge.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
