Delivery Coordinator Supervisor

The Delivery Coordinator (Delco) Supervisor is responsible for the Delivery Coordinator Team. They ensure timely delivery of products, communicate statuses and delivery plans.

• Coordinate and direct internal and externals customer orders through the manufacturing process.
• Respond to delivery related or product related inquiries as needed. This includes direct communication with plant operations, scheduling, planning, warehouse, shipping, CSR team and quality.
• Track and update recovery plans for the facility.
• Work with the delivery coordinator team to maintain delivery schedules to ensure timely completion (horse blankets, LOB, etc.).
• Communicate clear and timely status’ through tools to customers.
• Hire, train, mentor, and schedule delivery coordinator personnel.
• Lead and attend meetings and calls within and out of the company.
• Constantly looking to identify obstacles early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalating when needed.
• Work closely with site operations to ensure stable workflow of orders, priorities, and stock management (i.e., stagnant WIP, work order issues, holds).
• This includes direct communication with the Master Schedulers, Materials Managers and Central Planning Manager.
• Work closely with scheduling, adhering to capacity and specific site limitations.
• With sites that have a master scheduler to ensure timely release and correct flow of production orders.
• Work closely with the CSR team to help with moving jobs Update Horse blanket Past due + 4 weeks (need to eventually get out 8 weeks) Responsible for putting jobs on hold, splitting and editing jobs, locating jobs pushing them through the facility.
• Updating and distributing coverage files to other departments.
• Identify critical parts and make sure they are identified on the shop floor.
• Going out on the shop floor touching jobs and working with other departments to ensure jobs are moving.
• Responsible for getting timelines for critical parts.
• Identify bottlenecks and issues and bring them up to daily OBEYA.

• High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred.
• Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency may be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
• Background in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Interpretation of information furnished orally, written, and/or in diagram form.
• Time Management
  -well organized, possesses the ability to prioritize, maintain focus and follows through to end of projects.
• Works effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Capable of practical problem solving and decision making using analytical skills.
• Use of Microsoft Office;
  Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Effectively presents information, responds to questions in one-on-one and group environments.
• Proven understanding of process flows, lead-times and lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
