Role:
Painter
You will perform a range of tasks in the production of a transformer, including:
- Organize and identify transformer and subcomponents to be painted.
- Set-up and operate plural component or other paint equipment.
- Clean transformers and sub-assemblies prior to painting through use of sander and cloth. Wipe off as needed with cleaner or alcohol.
- Apply primer as required.
- Perform spray painting to paint complete finish coat.
- Complete quality check of final paint finish to meet manufacturing procedures and rework/repaint if required.
- Move transformer and parts to and from paint booth using overhead hoist, pallet jack and fork-trucks.
- Maintain all safety requirements.

Preferred:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Two years prior manufacturing experience.
- ACT Work Keys National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC):
Platinum or Gold Level.
