Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Join our high-energy, 35-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit, where you’ll care for a variety of patients, including:

• STEMI
• Post–Cardiac Catheterization
• CHF
• Arrhythmias
• Blood Pressure Management
• Stroke
• Cardiac Cath needs
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Support:
  Dedicated Patient Care Associates are available every shift

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED
• Licensure:
  Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; must maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Experience:
  
  New graduates and experienced LPNs welcome
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire
  • LPN-IV certification (completed or obtained within department time frames—up to 1 year)
• May Be Required (Based on Unit):
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Additional unit-specific certifications as needed
