Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Night Shift RNs – Med/Surg Unit
• Mercy Hospital Washington
• Full‑Time | 36 hrs/week
• Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Sign‑On Bonus: $20,000 for Experienced RNs
• Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000 for New Graduate Nurses

30‑bed Med/Surg unit with a team oriented culture.

• Patients include GI, Oncology, Post‑Op Recovery, COPD, Pneumonia, UTI, Dehydration, Complex Wound Care.
• RN‑to‑Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Supported by Patient Care Associates on every shift.

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license (state‑specific or compact).
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• BLS – Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire).
• Unit‑specific certifications (timeline for completion).

• Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing/walking throughout shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed.

• Premium Pay:
  Earn up to $8/hr extra based on years of Mercy service.
