Job Summary

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN – OR in Washington, Missouri. The assignment is 13 weeks, starting 27 July 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

• Involve patients and/or their significant others in decisions regarding care.
• Assess and document educational needs and learning abilities of patients and/or their significant others during admission and subsequent assessments.
• Document plan of care, including identified problems, nursing diagnoses, nursing interventions, and goals/outcomes with target dates.
• Perform patient hand‑offs using patient safety tools (SBAR, Report at Bedside, etc.).
• Maintain effective communication through the chain of command.
• Communicate subjective and objective data about patients/family and/or significant others with appropriate team members.
• Stay updated on unit communications, such as huddles and emails.
• Facilitate communication of pertinent findings with and/or make rounds with physicians.
• Participate in process improvement activities such as data collection, in‑services, and meetings as needed.

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Specialty experience in Ambulatory Surgery with critical care, pre‑op, and PACU.
• Certifications:
  
  Missouri Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS.
