The Quality Inspector performs inspections utilizing CMM, Vision System, Mechanical hand tools, and visual for dimensional inspections to ensure that all products meet customer specifications and requirements.
Essential Duties- Perform inspections of incoming raw material, outside processes, finished product.
- Perform in-process inspections as required and FAI inspections per AS9102.
- Maintain inspection and quality records as directed by Manager.
- Program/Operate CMM utilizing customer information.
- Program/Operate Vision System utilizing customer information.
- Work Environment:
Climate Controlled environment. - Work tools frequently used - hand measuring devices, CMM, gages.
- Education:
High School or Associates degree desired. - Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment. - A minimum of three years Quality Control experience.
- Aerospace industry experience.
- CMM programming experience.
- Skills:
Basic metrology and GD&T. - Blue print reading.
- Basic computer skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
