Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager

Are you an experienced Food Safety & Quality professional ready to lead quality systems and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? We re looking for a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to oversee food safety programs, quality initiatives, and a high-performing QA team while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Lead all Food Safety & Quality Assurance programs across the facility
• Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and GFSI standards
• Manage internal, customer, and third-party audits
• Oversee sanitation, environmental monitoring, traceability, and recall programs
• Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Production, Procurement, and R&D to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance
• Monitor quality KPIs, customer complaints, and product performance.

• Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Meat/Animal Science, or related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of FSQA experience in food manufacturing with supervisory experience
• HACCP Certification or HACCP training required
• Strong knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, GFSI, and food safety systems
• Experience with audits, traceability, recall programs, and quality management systems such as Red Zone
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
