Job Description

Responsibilities- Staff the store, manage costs, and develop team members.
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (use a calculator if needed).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Demonstrate motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
- Deliver product by car to the customer’s door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
- Receive orientation and on‑job training.
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- Positive attitude.
- Self‑motivated.
- Customer‑service oriented.
- Willingness to learn and excel.
- Valid driver’s license with a 2‑year clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle and proof of liability insurance.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Motor coordination and computer proficiency.
- Ability to navigate maps, locate addresses, and deliver products in adverse terrain.
- Ability to work independently and with a team under stress.
Work conditions: varying and sometimes adverse weather, in‑store temperatures ranging from 36° to 90°F or higher, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces or tools up to 500°F, sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical requirements:
standing, walking short distances, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying heavy items, pushing/pulling trays using dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, and navigating delivery sites.
