Retail Sales Representative

Mattress Firm is seeking a Retail Sales Representative passionate about helping customers sleep better. In this role, you'll greet shoppers, uncover their sleep needs, and recommend the right mattress and bedding solutions from our leading product assortment. You'll drive sales by delivering an exceptional in-store experience, explaining features, promotions, and financing options, and closing sales to meet goals. You'll also maintain showroom standards, assist with inventory, use POS systems, and participate in ongoing training in our performance-driven, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in-store to understand sleep needs and recommend mattresses, bedding, and accessories
• Explain product features, pricing, promotions, and financing options clearly and accurately
• Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges using POS systems with accuracy
• Maintain showroom appearance, including merchandising, signage, and product presentation
• Follow Mattress Firm sales process and attend ongoing training and coaching sessions
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve basic concerns, and coordinate with teammates for complex issues
• Support inventory counts, stock replenishment, and product placement according to company standards
