CNC Maintenance Technician

** POSITION SUMMARY
**** ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Install, modify, maintain, and repair all CNC production equipment and machinery, forklifts, power tools and other Sonaca North America equipment.
* Perform building and facility maintenance, repairs and improvements.  This includes plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on CNC equipment and facilities.
* Complete required paperwork and documentation.
* Operate forklift trucks as needed.
** EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES
*** 5 years experience in CNC and PLC equipment
* Troubleshooting and Test malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed
* Experience in 5S and Total Preventative Maintenance is preferred
* Electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems
* Robot maintenance and installation is preferred
* Fabrication and assembly processes
* Work holding principles
* HVAC License, Electrical Journeyman license, Boiler operator license preferred.
* Knowledge of production machines and equipment and the mechanical ability needed to complete repairs.
* Knowledge and ability to perform electrical, plumbing and other facility repairs.
* Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and techniques and procedures.
* Knowledge of HVAC Systems.
* Ability to operate a forklift truck.
* Ability to diagnose problems, find solutions and implement all measures to prevent reoccurrence.
* Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
* Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals.
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
* Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
* Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
* May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
