PositionSummary
We are currently seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician. The technician will apply best practices and procedures to all CNC equipment, machinery, preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repair of building and facility utilities.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Install, modify, maintain, and repair all CNC production equipment, forklifts, power tools, and other Sonaca North America equipment.
- Perform building and facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on CNC equipment and facilities.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation.
- Operate forklift trucks as needed.
- 5 years of experience with CNC and PLC equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and testing malfunctioning machinery to determine major repair needs.
- Preferred experience in 5S and Total Preventative Maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems, including HVAC.
- Experience with robot maintenance, installation, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Work holding principles; HVAC license, electrical journeyman license, and boiler operator license preferred.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and appropriate techniques and procedures.
- Ability to diagnose problems, find solutions, and implement preventive measures.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the manufacturing floor, including eye, ear, and foot protection.
- Occasional lifting or moving of up to 10–50 pounds.
