Preventative Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – responsible for preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, and repair of buildings, utilities, equipment, and machinery.

• Install, modify, maintain, and repair production equipment and machinery, forklifts, and power tools.
• Perform building and facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on facilities and equipment.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Operate forklift trucks as needed.

• High school diploma or high‑school equivalency (preferred). Non‑eligible candidates must complete a pre‑employment assessment.
• HVAC License, Electrical Journeyman license, or Boiler operator license (preferred).
• Knowledge of production machines, mechanical repair, electrical, plumbing, and facility repairs.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate a forklift truck.
• Diagnostic skills: identify problems, find solutions, and implement preventive measures.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions; read and interpret equipment manuals.

• Sit or stand for extended periods.
• Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) on the manufacturing floor (eye, ear, foot protection).
• Occasionally lift or move up to 10–50 pounds.
