Job Summary

Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. Walmart is expanding its local retail workforce and is actively recruiting experienced professionals to support and oversee repair within Walmart facilities. The role involves utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills with hand, digital, and power tools to maintain equipment.

• 10 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills with hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, operate ladders, and work at heights frequently.

• Salary range: $56,160 – $106,080
• Currently offering a $2,000 sign‑on bonus (for select locations)
