We’re looking for a Spanish Language Instructor to develop and teach specialized Spanish language courses for adult learners in our Continuing Education program. We offer courses like “Spanish in the Workplace,” “Conversational Spanish,” and “Spanish for Managers.”

• Develop and deliver engaging Spanish language instruction tailored to adult learners.
• Deliver instruction effectively in various modalities, including in-person, hybrid, or live online formats.
• Be willing to travel and provide daytime instruction in locations throughout Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey, as needed.
• Be willing to deliver courses live, online.
• Integrate relevant aspects of Spanish culture into the curriculum.
• Customize course content to address the specific industry needs of employers in sectors like manufacturing, banking, education, and healthcare.
• Utilize effective language teaching and learning methodologies and techniques.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Literature, Latin American/European Area Studies, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of language teaching and learning methodologies and techniques.
• Prior non-credit college teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Contract

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week

• No weekends
