Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Hammonton, NJ
About This OpportunityThis can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule. The ideal staff member will serve as a positive role model and trusted mentor—someone who can engage him in meaningful conversation, encourage social interaction, and support him in building friendships and exploring community opportunities.
Activities may include bowling, movies, hiking, climbing, video games, and other age-appropriate recreational interests. He also enjoys spending time with and caring for his dog. Staff should be dependable, patient, encouraging, and comfortable supporting him with managing behaviors safely and respectfully while promoting choice, confidence, independence, and active participation.
Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
Provide companionship and community support to an individual who is seeking employment, increased independence, and greater connection within his community.
Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

Tues & Fri 12:30-2/3
Pay: $17-$21/hour
