Purpose of Job

To promote health and wellness within our communities by overseeing the grant management process, grant compliance, and maximizing appropriate grant funding as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify grant opportunities, review grant criteria, and make recommendations to pursue each to Executive Leadership
  • Perform research and data gathering for needs assessments to support potential funding opportunities
  • Oversee the life cycle of each grant proposal and funded grant project
  • Prepare and manage requests for grant proposals, narratives, and applications for submissions
  • Facilitate relevant cross‑departmental grant project team management to implement and report grant deliverables
  • Track grant compliance and provide status reports to relevant departments, including Executive Leadership
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department on grant tracking and grant management
  • Gather necessary report data and report on grant progress
  • Assist the Finance Department in requesting reimbursement and drawdowns, as needed
  • Maintain all necessary grant‑related materials in compliance with NEW Health’s document retention procedure
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel may be required
Qualifications
  • Education/

    Experience:

    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in nonprofit administration or grants administration. Prior experience in grant writing and grant administration preferred, as well as project management experience.
  • Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions; project management skills including time management and multi‑tasking; creativity and adaptability.
Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and sit. Ocasional movement around the facility, use and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
