DEPARTMENT
: CAC (Children Advocacy Center) & LOH (Legacy of Healing)
JOB SUMMARY
:
The Director will provide strategic, operational, and fiscal leadership for the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), and Legacy of Healing (LOH) programs. Advance the mission of the CAC and LOH through effective strategic planning, program development, grant management, fiscal stewardship, staff supervision, and community partnerships. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, victim-centered, and culturally responsive services to child and adult victims of crime.

Maintain compliance with the National Children’s Alliance (NCA) standards for accredited members, as well as State and Federal funding requirements. Serve as a member of the Family Advocacy Division leadership team and contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and organizational decision-making.
COMPENSATION: $45.99 hr.
Minimum Required Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum Related Experience
  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience in victim services, child advocacy, social services, criminal justice, behavioral health, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of supervisory or management experience that includes staff supervision, budget development and oversight, grant administration.
  • Five (5) years of experience with compliance, program development and evaluation, and community partnership development.
Skills Testing
  • Correspondence & Presentation
Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites
  • WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
  • Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations. (Abstract Required)
  • CPR/First Aid certificate.
  • Forty (40) hours of core victim advocacy training.
    * Will allow three (3) months to obtain.
  • Thirty (30) hours of core sexual assault advocacy training.
    * Will allow six (6) months to obtain.
  • Eight (8) hours of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training every two years.
  • DOJ Grants Financial Management Training.
  • Mandated Reporter training upon hire, and annually.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
