Superintendent - Ground Up Commercial Construction

A well-established, family-owned general contractor with a strong presence throughout the Southeast is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a large-scale ground-up retail construction project. The company has been delivering commercial construction projects for decades and is known for its commitment to quality, safety, client satisfaction, and on-time project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who enjoys running complex projects, leading teams in the field, and taking ownership from sitework through turnover.

• Manage all day-to-day field operations for a ground-up commercial project
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries
• Develop and maintain project schedules in partnership with the project team
• Enforce site safety standards and company procedures
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and oversee project quality control
• Resolve field issues proactively to maintain schedule and productivity
• Drive project completion while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Experience leading ground-up retail, commercial, industrial, or similar projects
• Strong understanding of scheduling, site logistics, and subcontractor management
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within quality expectations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
