Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

This is a part-time faculty position teaching courses in Agribusiness. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, hybrid, blended, NCIH broadcast, and lab-based sections. This position may also serve as a substitute instructor for other Agribusiness courses on an as-needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's Degree in Agriculture or related field of study from a regionally accredited institution with experience in an agribusiness.

OR

A Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Education, or related area of study from a regionally accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

Essential Duties

* Provide classroom and laboratory instruction for students in a traditional course setting.

* Participate in course and curriculum design.

* Adhere to the departmental course guidelines and ensure that content covers approved student learning outcomes.

* Maintain all required college records including attendance and grade reports.

* Evaluate student performance using methods appropriate to the course.

* Measure and report required student learning outcomes.

* Assist students in receiving needed instructional resources.

* Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

FLSA Exempt Estimated Hours per Week TBD Range Based on the College's salary plan and commensurate with education and relevant work experience.
