Job Description Summary
The Division of Continuing Education is seeking a part-time instructor for our HRD & Workforce Initiatives Program. This position will involve up to four hours each Monday and Wednesday instructing our BCCC Employment Learning Lab and proctoring National Career Readiness Certificate testing sessions. The Employment Learning Lab is designed to assist individuals with National Career Readiness Certificate test prep and other employability skills.

Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Preferred Qualifications
Essential Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Instruct BCCC Employment Learning Lab and Proctor National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
* Maintain accurate registration, attendance, and payroll records.
* Submit required reports and fulfill all contract provisions.
* Assist with maintaining a classroom environment emphasizing safety, good housekeeping, and equipment security.
* Maintain student, instructor, and staff confidentiality. Consistently monitor work area to ensure instructor and student data is being protected according to Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations.
* Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments in a positive manner.
* Participate in professional development activities designed to enhance job skills and knowledge, as agreed upon by the employee and supervisor.
* Interact with students, the public, the community, and co-workers in a cooperative, courteous and professional manner.
* Comply with the College's policies and procedures.
* Perform related duties and responsibilities, as assigned by supervisor.
FLSA Non-Exempt Estimated Hours per Week up to 8 hours per week Range Based on the College's salary plan and is commensurate with education and relevant work experience.

Beaufort County Community College serves a 2,100 square mile service region comprised of four counties (Beaufort, Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington) in coastal North Carolina.
