Job Description Summary
This is a part-time faculty position teaching courses in Information Technology. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, online, hybrid, blended, NCIH broadcast, and lab-based sections. Additionally, part-time faculty are required to participate in course and curriculum design, development of student learning outcomes, and data collection and assessment. They must also fulfill all other duties and responsibilities of instructors as required, including on-going professional development.
Flexibility and a willingness to change depending upon the needs of the students or the institution are necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Required:
Master’s degree in Information Systems or closely related discipline with 18 graduate hours in Information Systems, Computer Science or an Information Technology related field from a regionally accredited institution.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS :
Required:
- Knowledge of educational technology and applications in instructional delivery.
- Excellent computer skills, including programming, database, spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Commitment to successful student learning outcomes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Evidence of ability to work cooperatively in a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of introduction to computers, and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access).
- Experience in teaching CIS 110, Introduction to Computers.
- Experience teaching at the college level.
- Experience teaching online classes.
Experience with Canvas.
