Utility Worker II - Beaufort Food & Nutrition Services

Job Description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the receiving, ordering, distribution and weekly inventory of Food Service Department food and supplies. They will assure clean, sanitized, organized and properly maintained storage areas throughout the Food Service department and will utilize FIFO (first in, first out) to assure foods are fresh and safe for customer consumption. They will remove trash and garbage from throughout department to debris collection area, clean and sanitize storerooms, refrigerators, freezers, any other storage areas and work areas, will sweep and mop department floors and complete special cleaning assignments.

Minimum Requirements

Must be able to read, write and speak English (Bilingual in Spanish is encouraged)

Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week
