Position: PAINTER - WET AND POWDER COAT
Oak Ridge Industries is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter with expertise in both powder coating and wet paint application. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various coating processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes on a variety of metals. The Painter will be responsible for applying coatings to surfaces, ensuring proper preparation, and maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter with expertise in powder coating and wet paint applications.

• Familiarity with different coating techniques, including electrostatic spraying, airless spraying, and brush or roller application.

• Strong knowledge of paint and coating materials, their properties, and proper mixing and application techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.

• High attention to detail with an eye for quality finishes.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow safety protocols in handling chemicals and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment as needed.
