This position will train on 1st Shift & transfer to 2nd Shift (estimated January 2027).

JOB SUMMARY

Prepare unit for painting (stripping, sanding, washing, masking) following verbal or written instructions, closely adhering to company and customer standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Check unit to make sure it is prepared for paint.

Follow written and verbal instructions to prep units meeting company and customer quality standards.

Detect and report faulty operations, materials and working conditions to supervisor.

Use safety equipment as instructed. Follow safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain work area, equipment and tools in clean orderly condition.

Promote 5S concept of order and housekeeping.

Perform other duties and cross-train as required or assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Entry level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical fitness to perform all functions of designated work areas. This includes small tool use, full arm and leg range of motion, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and work in awkward positions, talking and hearing.

Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25#, frequently lift and/or move up to 35# and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70#.

Respiratory protection, as required.
