Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN - Surgical Unit

Position Summary

• Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Participate in the assessment of patients and assist in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care.
• Attend educational programs and staff orientations that promote professional development.
• Develop a leadership role within the LPN scope of practice.
• Participate in the Service Excellence Program.

• LPN Diploma
• Active NC LPN License or compact state license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice.

• $22.42 - $32.68
• Final compensation will depend on career ladder placement (Licensed Practical Nurse I - III)

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital (Washington, NC) – Surgical Unit

Shift: Full-time Nights

Hours:

7AM-7PM (36 hrs/week)
