Locum Tenens Job Opportunity for Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics Job : j-237041 We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pediatrics for a locum tenens position near Mineral, Washington. Schedule and Coverage Coverage:
Scheduled shifts with no on-call requirement Shift

Description:

Day shifts, 8 hours each, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Block Schedules:
Not required Contract Length: 3 months with the possibility of extension Weekly

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with optional Saturday hours for overtime Work Details Practice Setting:
Outpatient Clinic Average Daily Census:
Up to 18 patients Patient Age Group:
Pediatrics Procedures:
Basic pediatric procedures including well-child visits Outpatient ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, and chronic disease management Support Staff:
Dedicated medical assistant for each provider Onsite receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and often an onsite pediatrician Patient Population:
Includes vulnerable populations such as migrants and refugees; interpretive services available onsite Department

Job Requirements Board

Certifications:

Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics State Licenses:
Must be licensed in Washington

Certifications:

ACLS and BLS required DEA required

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years required Charting

Experience:

Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred Additional Information Special Procedures:
Providers are expected to perform basic pediatric procedures and manage a range of pediatric health issues.

Skills Required:

Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting daily productivity expectations. Overtime Policy:
Overtime is only approved if the provider exceeds daily productivity expectations. Otherwise, overtime is not permitted, and timesheets may be adjusted accordingly.
