Job DescriptionCascade Christian Schools, a high-quality, independent, interdenominational school district, has an opening for a Health Coordinator. - Develop, implement, and oversee district-wide health policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure consistent, high-quality health services across all campuses
- Serve as the district’s primary health consultant to school leadership
- Oversee student health plans, including chronic conditions, medication administration, medical accommodations, and emergency response planning
- Coordinate care with families, healthcare providers, and school staff
- Provide clinical guidance and support to campus personnel
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations, including immunizations, communicable disease reporting, and medication standards
- Monitor and respond to public health concerns and emergencies
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with privacy laws (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Complete required state reporting, including annual submission to the Washington State Immunization Information System
- Supervise and support campus staff in implementing health procedures
- Provide training in first aid, CPR/AED, allergy management, diabetes care, and emergency protocols
- Partner with school leadership to promote student and staff wellness initiatives
- Collaborate with counseling and student support teams on mental health and preventive care efforts
- Serve as liaison to families, community healthcare providers, hospitals, and public health agencies
- Participate in district committees and crisis response teams
- Agree with Cascade Christian Schools' Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
- Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); master’s degree in nursing preferred
- School Nurse Certification (or eligibility)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in school health, pediatrics, public health, or community health
- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent health issues
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to respond quickly to medical emergencies
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Work is primarily school-based, with regular travel between campuses
- Clear background check
- Possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate
Monday through Friday; a minimum of 20 hours per week, and possibly up to 40 hours per week

Salary Range$29.91 through $45.44, depending on qualifications and experience
