This Certified Nursing Assistant role provides basic nursing care to clients under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse. The candidate works cooperatively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and follows all established guidelines and procedures of St. Joseph’s Hospital. The position reports to the Nursing Supervisor/Charge Nurse and functions according to nursing profession standards.

• Deliver basic nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
• Collaborate with licensed nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Observe and report patient condition changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with daily patient activities, positioning, feeding, and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care and patient responses.

• Completed an approved Certified Nursing Assistant course.
• May be presently enrolled in an approved course and demonstrate competency by completion of skills in a clinical setting.
• Upon hire:
  Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.

• 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
