Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage at an outpatient clinic in Washington. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including assessments, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive services. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostics, prescribing medications, documenting in the EHR, and collaborating with physicians and clinic staff. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient family medicine clinic
• Conduct patient assessments, histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans
• Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic and acute conditions per state guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment plans
• Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide coverage during scheduled locum tenens assignment dates
• Communicate effectively with Locum
• and clinic leadership regarding scheduling and patient care needs
