Position SummaryFull‑time Nurse Manager (RN) available at the Ocean Shores Medical Clinic. The role reports to the Health Center Administrator and Clinical Director, overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations for nursing staff. The Nurse Manager will lead clinical policy implementation, audit performance, and quality improvement initiatives in alignment with Sea Mar standards, state and federal regulations, and the Joint Commission accreditation.
Responsibilities- Manage and evaluate approximately 10–12 Medical Assistants, including MA supervisors.
- Implement nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Medical Director and Administrator to meet Sea Mar’s standards and governmental regulations.
- Perform monthly audits (e.g., NPSG audits) and demonstrate knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.
- Focus clinic efforts on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards.
- Provide annual MA trainings on infection control and sterilization techniques.
- Lead hiring efforts for Medical Assistants and support staff.
- Oversee the patient care system for nurse‑only visits.
- Maintain effective written and verbal communication; lift up to 10 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with an active RN or BSN license in Washington.
- Complete state‑mandated HIV education.
- Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
- Exhibit excellent communication, listening, and team‑building abilities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- A proactive eagerness to learn.
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and self‑motivated attitude.
