Ability to perform dressing changes and medication reconciliation.
Description:
Local candidates are welcome.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Schedule is Monday to Friday, with no weekends or call required.
Floating within scope may be necessary as needed.
Daily patient census is 14 with 3 rooms available.
The unit comprises of 6 beds.
Orientation consists of training modules.
No weekend coverage or call coverage is required.
Pre-approved time off is permitted.
Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.
Team support includes staff from various specialties.
Skills include handling vital signs and capillary testing.
Experience with wound care technology, including wound vacs, is preferred.
Modules completed in the first 16 hours of orientation are non-billable.
All other modules completed thereafter will be considered non-billable as well.
