Overview

At Chimalow Produce we focus on growing high-quality nutrient dense vegetables, herbs and fruits. We are based in Chimacum, WA and sell our produce at the Port Townsend Farmer’s Markets, to local grocery stores, restaurants, caterers, food producers, and the food bank.

Farm Crew 2026

1 Full time (or 2 part-time positions) available

Start date:

May 5 (flexible for 1 of 2 part-time positions)
End date:
November 27 or December 18
Potential for year-round employment (with the option to take January off)

• Harvest, wash and pack vegetables, herbs and fruit for farmers market, CSA and wholesale channels
• Additional tasks may include bed preparation, transplanting, hand weeding, hoeing, irrigation, washing bins, and deliveries
• One designated crew member will assist at the farmer’s market every other week

• Farm experience is not required but appreciated
• Reliable, positive attitude
• Strong communication skill
• Attention to detail with focus on quality
• Strive to show consistency and speed in their work
• Comfortable working both independently and part of team
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to repeatedly squat, bend, kneel and lift/carry 50+ pounds

• Pay $18-$19 per hour, depending on experience DOE

• Benefits:
  Paid sick leave: 1 hour for every 40 hours worked
• Overtime pay:
  Time-and-half for hours worked over 40 hours/week
• $100 gear stipend
