Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking a Fish Hatchery Technician for Beaver Creek Hatchery in Cathlamet, WA or North Toutle Hatchery in Toutle, WA. The role runs for 9 months, Sept 16, 2026 to June 15, 2027, with duties including pond care, pump operation, feeding, and data recording.
Work is outdoors in all weather; schedule typically Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with occasional evenings or weekends. Travel to other hatcheries may be required.
