A growing and well-established manufacturing organization in the Washington County area is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This position offers excellent exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, operational accounting, and process improvement initiatives within a multi-entity environment.

- Assist with month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions
- Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations
- Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
- Help maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Assist with intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting activities
- Support year-end audit preparation and external audit requests
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams on financial initiatives
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or multi-entity environments
- Knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month-end close processes
- Strong Excel and ERP/accounting software skills
- Experience with cost accounting or inventory accounting is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
