Senior Metallurgist Technology

Primary Responsibilities for the Senior Metallurgist Technology:

  • Provides a diversified range of technical services to our internal and external customers supporting the attainment of company and division goals.
  • Responsible for making disposition of referred, non-conforming and off-standard material, including but not limited to RMRs and customer claims.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide metallurgical process support to production processes.
  • Demonstrates willingness to solve problems in a titanium manufacturing environment where both data analysis and metallurgical knowledge is required.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide training and education to customers.
  • May provide support, leadership, and guidance to peers, customers, and managers in key projects.
  • Applies statistical methods to solve problems and design experiments.
  • Assists in the use of SPC, six-sigma and/or BPI tools to detect project inefficiencies.
  • Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required for the Senior Metallurgist Technology:

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field required.
  • 4+ years relevant experience required.
