Senior Metallurgist Technology
Primary Responsibilities for the Senior Metallurgist Technology:
- Provides a diversified range of technical services to our internal and external customers supporting the attainment of company and division goals.
- Responsible for making disposition of referred, non-conforming and off-standard material, including but not limited to RMRs and customer claims.
- Demonstrates the ability to provide metallurgical process support to production processes.
- Demonstrates willingness to solve problems in a titanium manufacturing environment where both data analysis and metallurgical knowledge is required.
- Demonstrates ability to provide training and education to customers.
- May provide support, leadership, and guidance to peers, customers, and managers in key projects.
- Applies statistical methods to solve problems and design experiments.
- Assists in the use of SPC, six-sigma and/or BPI tools to detect project inefficiencies.
- Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required for the Senior Metallurgist Technology:
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field required.
- 4+ years relevant experience required.
