Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (No Rotating Shifts!)

About the Role
We are seeking a CNC Machinist LEVEL 3 to join our team. This advanced position is perfect for candidates with hands-on experience who enjoy working in a dynamic, manufacturing environment.
REQUIRED:
Minimum 4 years of experience, with proficiency in setups. PREFERRED:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, including making tool wear, tool, and work offsets. You'll play a key role in ensuring that our parts meet strict quality standards. The primary purpose of this position is performing advanced set-ups, operating, and programming a variety of computer numerical control (CNC) equipment used to produce precision parts and instruments. Work performed is complex and performed without supervision.

What You'll Do
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters
- Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
- Programs machining equipment, including calculating requirements using basics math and trigonometry
- Machines parts to specification using CNC machining equipment
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Leads, trains, coaches, and mentors less experienced machinists
Requirements for role
- Required:
- Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program
- Minimum 4 years of experience, with proficiency in setups
- Proficient at troubleshooting new programs
- Expert math and trigonometry skills
- Expert in G&M code programming, optimizing, and editing skills
- Expert knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Proficiency in manual machining and inspection procedures skillS
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a CNC machinist apprenticeship program
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, including making tool wear, tool, and work offsets
Working conditions and
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in an air-conditioned manufacturing environment
- Work is performed around moving mechanical parts and a moderately high noise level
- Standing, sitting, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing repetitive motions is required
