Industrial Refrigeration Technician

CASCO USA, a leading distributor of industrial chillers and refrigerated air dryers, is looking for an INDUSTRIAL REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN with proven history in service and support of industrial refrigeration systems and process cooling equipment to join our Twinsburg, OH area office.

Candidates looking for an intellectually stimulating position where they can put into practice their refrigeration knowledge and expertise should apply. Candidates will work primarily with refrigeration systems in a variety of industrial settings. A thorough background & understanding in refrigeration equipment and excellent customer service skills are key to success in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial refrigeration systems such as process chillers & refrigerated dryers to ensure optimal performance

* Perform mechanical & electrical tests to enable good working order prior to sending equipment to customers

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of refrigeration equipment

* Respond to service calls and perform field service repairs as needed

* Support customers and other technicians via telephone or with on-site services

* Drive company van to various job sites for service calls

* Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients

Requirements:

* Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in refrigeration systems

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

* EPA 608 Certification (Universal) or ability to obtain within ninety (90) days

* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Proficiencies in the following areas are a plus:

* Leak detection

* Refrigerant recovery

* Brazing

* Refrigeration controls

* Root cause analysis
