Entry Level Hvac Installer
Aerotek is hiring for an entry level HVAC installer. $18-$20/hr with weekly pay. M-F day shift.
Job description
Join a dynamic HVAC specialty contractor where you will learn HVAC installing & service. You will play a critical role in installing HVAC systems in new residential constructions. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity for growth and skill development in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload tools and materials at the construction site.
- Measure distances using a tape measure.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
- Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
- Maintain personal and company tools and equipment.
- Apply mastic on ductwork.
- Install Flex Duct/Register Boots in building attics.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Essential skills
- Previous outdoor work experience with comfort in all weather environments.
- Reliability and ability to drive directly to job sites each day.
- Proficiency in using a tape measure or a quick ability to learn.
- Willingness to learn construction skills and retain HVAC knowledge.
Additional skills & qualifications
- Any construction experience is preferred, but not required.
- Any certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Ability to take direction well from a project manager.
- Professionalism in working with a crew on site.

Work environment
You will work on a construction site every day, directly reporting to the site rather than an office. The typical workweek is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with optional Saturdays. Work with a crew of 4-6 people, wearing your own work boots and appropriate clothing (steel toes not required). All necessary PPE, such as hard hats, vests, gloves, glasses, and hearing protection, will be provided.

Pay and benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
