The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily quality operations on the production floor to ensure products meet established quality and food safety standards. This role involves managing QC technicians, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements, and implementing corrective actions. The supervisor also collaborates closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues and support ongoing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and guide QC technicians in day-to-day production activities.
- Ensure adherence to GMP standards and regulatory compliance.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
- Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee accurate sampling, testing, and documentation of product attributes throughout the manufacturing process.
- Strong knowledge of quality control practices and in-process monitoring.
- Solid understanding of GMP compliance and food safety regulations.
- Leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and develop team members.
- Effective problem-solving and corrective action capabilities.
- Experience with testing and evaluating product attributes such as pH, Brix, weight, and visual quality.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and audit processes.
- Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve quality-related production issues.
- Experience with data tracking, trend analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in food quality or food safety environments.
- Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing or production settings.

Work EnvironmentThis role operates within a food processing and laboratory setting, requiring adherence to GMP standards. The position involves rotating shifts every two weeks:
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Candidates should be comfortable working in conditions that may include cold temperatures, high humidity, and elevated noise levels.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
