Location: Airway Heights, WA
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4x10 Schedule)
Job Summary
We are looking for an NDT Technician 2 to inspect aircraft sheet metal parts using non-destructive testing (NDT) methods. You will perform inspections, record results, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience required—certifications and required NDT hours are mandatory.
- Perform NDT inspections on aircraft sheet metal parts.
- Use Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), Radiographic (X-Ray), and Digital X-Ray methods.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Record and document inspection results accurately.
- Create and update NDT technique sheets.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Identify defects and report any issues.
- Follow all quality and safety procedures.
- Assist other NDT technicians when needed.
Requirements
- Must have NDT certifications and required NDT hours.
- Certified in FPI, Radiographic Inspection, and Digital X-Ray Inspection.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Basic knowledge of welding, forming, and manufacturing processes.
