Position SummaryThe On-Site Apartment Manager is responsible for the daily oversight and operation of assigned apartment properties. This position ensures that buildings, grounds, and common areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition while supporting positive tenant relations and compliance with housing regulations and agency policies.
The on-site manager serves as contact for residents and may assist with move-ins and move-outs, routine inspections, maintenance requests, and communication between tenants, maintenance staff, and agency leadership.

Property Management & Tenant Relations
- Serve as a contact for tenants and respond to questions, concerns, and maintenance requests.
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with residents while enforcing lease agreements, property rules, and agency policies.
- Assist with leasing activities including unit showings, application coordination, and move-in and move-out processes.
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and document property conditions and damages when applicable.
- Maintain accurate tenant records, incident reports, and documentation of maintenance requests.
- Rent collection and submission.
Property Oversight & Maintenance
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure buildings and grounds meet safety and health standards.
- Monitor the condition of units, common areas, and exterior grounds and report maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule repairs and maintenance work.
- Assist with preparing vacant units for occupancy including coordinating cleaning, minor repairs, painting, and inspections.
- Monitor building security and report.
