Certified Shift Manager

Position Overview

Shift Manager position at an independent McDonald’s franchisee restaurant in Burlington, WA.

Base pay range: $19.00/hr – $22.00/hr (certified managers $22.50–23.75/hr).

The franchisee is the sole employer. McDonald’s USA does not participate in hiring, firing, or any employment decisions.

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly service.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plan each shift, monitor performance, and take action to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability throughout the shift.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help them run a great shift.
• Help departments meet their goals and meet targets during shifts.
• Food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training.

• Minors must be 18 years or older to manage in corporate-owned restaurants.
• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule, ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
