Merchandiser Manager – Bothell, WA at Dietz & Watson

Salary: $81,168 – $91,468 per year based on experience.

Weekly payroll via Direct Deposit, monthly Car Allowance/Expenses Reimbursement on Select Travel, and a Benefits Package including Medical/Dental/Vision/Rx/Disability/401K.

This position is responsible for hiring, training, leading, and managing the assigned team of merchandisers to maintain presentation standards for all Dietz & Watson products in accordance with customer standards. It also coordinates, schedules, and communicates support activities to achieve budgeted sales and profit objectives, including store sets, demo/sampling activities, deli associate training, and merchandising tasks. It develops and maintains strong relationships with retailer’s key deli contacts at the multi‑unit level and mentors sales merchandisers to promote the brand.

• Collaborates with Human Resources and Sales Management to interview and hire candidates.
• Conducts resume review, initial phone screenings, and in‑person interviews.
• Coordinates onboarding procedures and ensures necessary training and equipment.

• Schedules and assigns merchandisers to meet account objectives.
• Provides training, evaluation, and mentorship for performance.
• Communicates field observations and recommendations for improvement.

• Leads by example, reflecting company commitment to excellence.
• Supports employee growth and long‑term sustainability.

• Room temperature while in stores; occasional refrigerated areas.
• Walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting up to 20 lbs. continuously, occasional up to 50 lbs., pushing carts up to 100 lbs., pulling carts, reaching, use of both hands and arms.

• Must be able to travel.
• Must read/write in English.
• Must have computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must work weekends as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Marketing, Business Administration, Marketing or related field required.
• Serv‑Safe certification preferred.
• Clear driving history minimum 2 years.
• Real  passport for travel.
• 2–5 years customer service/sales experience required; prior merchandising in food/beverage industry preferred.
