Seasonal - Suncadia Golf Pro Shop Attendant

Overview

This position will handle financial transactions for golfers and visitors to the Pro Shops at Suncadia's Prospector and Rope Rider Golf. Responsibilities include merchandise sales, answering phones, scheduling tee times, and handling questions relating to golf. They will play an integral role in membership retention. They are responsible to issue and process returns of golf carts and rental equipment to and from golfers, ensuring that all returns are checked and correctly documented.

They will monitor and maintain the driving range and practice areas, and restock golf balls as required.

This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates:

• Season Start: 4/1/2026, 5/1/2016, and 6/15/2026
• Season End: 11/5/2026

Hours will fluctuate as business levels rise and fall throughout the season. Peak season, with the most hours, is typically May – October.

• Maintains an exceptional golf experience for members and guests
• Take starting times and enter the daily tee sheet into the computer
• Sign up golfers and collect greens and cart fees
• Sell golf merchandise
• Control play on the course when the starter is not being used
• Provide pertinent information to golfers about daily conditions of play and directions
• Responsible for financial records and accounting functions necessary to open and close and comply with administrative needs
• Assist with stocking merchandise and supporting sales when not busy at the counter
• Develop an atmosphere of professional friendliness
• Recognize guests as they enter the golf shop

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Previous hospitality, retail, or cashiering experience preferred
• Comfortable speaking with guests via phone and email in a professional manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Ability to resolve problems using good judgment
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision
