GENERAL

PURPOSE:

Join our dynamic team as a Stock Team Member where you'll play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be the friendly face that greets our customers, ensuring they are treated with respect and courtesy throughout their shopping journey. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, efficiently managing merchandise presentation, and assisting customers as needed.

• Prioritize safety as the number one goal by practicing safe behaviors at all times.

• Ensure a clutter-free and secure shopping environment, quickly addressing any unsafe conditions.

• Engage customers positively by treating them and your fellow associates with respect and courtesy.

• Assist customers with their inquiries, handle sales transactions at the register, and maintain a friendly demeanor throughout.

• Respond promptly to customer service calls and manage customer issues with professionalism and courtesy.

• Act as an ambassador for our company brand, demonstrating integrity and professionalism in every interaction.

• Maintain cleanliness in all areas, performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies.

• Ensure the store is well‑maintained and efficiently merchandised by performing assigned sizing and recovery tasks each day.

• Quickly and effectively get new merchandise onto the sales floor, following presentation guidelines.

• Understand loss prevention strategies and follow all safety and merchandise protection standards.

• Handle cash and transactions accurately while maintaining awareness of procedures related to money handling.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates in a friendly manner.

Basic mathematical skills common in retail settings.

• Ability to use store equipment, including registers and other tools.

• Ability to stand, walk, and move across the store for most of the shift.

• Regular bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and reaching as necessary.

• Ability to lift more than 25 pounds occasionally.

• Use janitorial equipment and other supplies effectively.

• Specific roles may require additional qualifications.

• Stockroom shifts require the ability to lift and move more than 20 pounds regularly.

The base pay for this role is between $17.13 and $17.63, influenced by qualifications and location. Our total compensation package includes various benefits such as insurance programs, discount programs, 401K, stock purchase options, and various others for eligible positions.
